When reading about use cases for BLE devices, one term constantly came up. It was beacons. Beacons are small devices that do not connect. They just advertise. So it was obvious to test out a test case wherein I would use beacons. This is of course a two part test case. Firstly I had just make pi read data from a beacon and then I had to make pi act like a beacon, advertising some data and have an Android phone read it.
